What to expect from your private yoga session...

I will provide a safe, gentle, and fun environment. For any yoga session, we can meet in your home or office—all you need is comfortable clothing. You don't even need shoes; we practice in bare feet!

My yoga exercise for weight loss sessions are personalized to meet your goals and desires. Tell me what you want to accomplish and I will develop a practice to support you. You can choose your session to be gentle and relaxing, moderate and invigorating, or rigorous. Every day is different from the day before and each session can be different too.

I provide the yoga mat and a few other props to help as you begin to practice. I also have mats available for you to purchase if you are interested.

We start gently according to your current ability level and progress at a pace that feels best for you.

I encourage you to listen to your body; you will never be pushed beyond your ability or comfort level.

These yoga exercise for weight loss sessions begin with warm-up movements and breath awareness to prepare you for the postures. We then perform a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body. Each yoga session ends with deep relaxation and meditation. Sessions can be as gentle or vigorous as you desire.

What I expect from you...

Before we begin, please let me know if you have any specific goals or requirements for your yoga exercise for weight loss session.

Provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel a session.

Dress in comfy clothes that allow you to move freely.

Try to eat a couple of hours prior to your yoga session so that you are not practicing with a full stomach. If you are hungry, have a light snack like a banana before the session.

If any pose or adjustment hurts, let me know immediately.

Be gentle and kind with yourself. Yoga is meant to be a non-competitive endeavor.
